About us

The site is owned by Branston Parish Council who devolve the day to day management of it to a site committee made up of volunteer plotholders. We have approximately 140 plots of various sizes. There are no toilet facilities on the site. The site is access friendly to disabled gardeners. No mains water is available on site but it is available on many plots from the underground water table. The site run a trading shed with any profits being used to improve the site. The soil is a light loam. The site is secure and is accessed by key. Our rules state that 75% of a plot must be cultivated. A sub-committee undertakes various plot inspections through out the year.
